Session Two: Roadmap Development

Moderator: Dr. Matthew Gollock

• Presentations from countries highlighted a range of understanding of the status of the American Eel across range states, and some key areas of focus were identified through discussion around this point.

• There was broad agreement that strengthened collaboration and co-ordination would be useful, but further discussion was needed as to how a roadmap would be structued and function.

• Participants outlined two workshops on the topics of monitoring and management, and consistency of data use and analysis, that would be useful to hold outside of roadmap discussions.
