Forty years of ocean acidification observations (1983–2023) in the Sargasso Sea at the Bermuda Atlantic Time-series Study site

nick articleThe Bermuda Atlantic Time Series (BATS) is a sister project to the world's longest running time series for oceanographic data. BATS has monitored biogeochemical cycles in the Sargasso Sea since 1983 and this new paper clearly indicates trends of warming, ocean acidification, and decrease in dissolved oxygen over time. This represents one of the most comprehensive datasets for a high seas system anywhere.
